Prepare the Halibut
Season the halibut fillets with salt and black pepper on both sides.

Sear the Halibut
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned halibut fillets and sear for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from skillet and set aside.

Combine Ingredients
Stir in the fermented barley, diced apple, and chicken broth. Season with salt and black pepper. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until warmed through.
