Method

Burger Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef Patties

Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties. Season both sides with salt and pepper to taste.

  2. 2

    Grill the Patties

Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip them.

  3. 3

    Add Cheese

After flipping the patties, place a slice of butterkase cheese on top of each patty. Cook for an additional 4-5 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the patty reaches your desired doneness.

  4. 4

    Toast the Rolls

During the last few minutes of cooking, place the potato rolls on the grill or in a toaster to toast lightly.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Burgers

Spread Duke's mayonnaise on the bottom half of each toasted potato roll. Place the grilled patty with melted cheese on top, followed by sliced onions, lettuce, and pickles. Top with the other half of the roll.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve the Royale w/Cheese burgers immediately with fries, or substitute with Haus salad or soup.
