Method

Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribeye

Season the ribeye steak with salt and black pepper on both sides. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a little oil. Cook the ribeye for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until it reaches your desired doneness. Remove from the skillet and let it rest.

  2. 2

    Cook the Eggs

In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and crack the eggs into the pan. Cook them sunny-side up or to your preference. Once cooked, place a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each egg and cover the skillet for about a minute to melt the cheese.

  3. 3

    Toast the Buns

While the eggs are cooking, split the brioche buns and lightly butter the insides. Place them cut-side down in the skillet until golden brown.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Sandwich

On the bottom half of each toasted bun, layer the sliced ribeye, followed by the cheesy eggs, fresh arugula or spinach, and a dash of hot sauce. Top with the other half of the bun.

  5. 5

    Serve

Serve the ribeye breakfast sandwich warm with extra hot sauce on the side if desired.
