Method

Fried Chicken

  1. 1

    Prepare Chicken

Marinate the boneless chicken thighs in buttermilk for at least 1 hour or overnight in the refrigerator.

  2. 2

    Dredge Chicken

In a bowl, mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Remove chicken from buttermilk and coat each piece in the flour mixture.

  3. 3

    Fry Chicken

Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan over medium-high heat. Fry the chicken pieces until golden brown and cooked through, about 7-8 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.

Jalapeno Slaw

  1. 4

    Combine Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine shredded cabbage, grated carrots, and sliced jalapenos.

  2. 5

    Make Dressing

In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, honey, and salt. Pour over the cabbage mixture and toss to combine.

Sriracha Mayo

  1. 6

    Mix Mayo and Sriracha

In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise and Sriracha sauce until well combined.

Assembly

  1. 7

    Assemble Sandwiches

Spread Sriracha mayo on the bottom half of each Kaiser bun. Place a piece of fried chicken on top, followed by jalapeno slaw. Top with the other half of the bun and serve.
