Preparing the Tea

Boil Water
In a saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil over medium heat.

Steep Tea Leaves
Once the water reaches a boil, remove it from the heat and add 4 tablespoons of Thai tea leaves. Stir and let the tea steep for about 5-7 minutes.

Strain the Tea
After steeping, strain the tea into a heatproof container to remove the leaves. Add 1 tablespoon of sugar while the tea is still warm, stirring until dissolved.

Cool the Tea
Allow the sweetened tea to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until chilled.
Assembling the Drink

Prepare Glass
Fill a glass with ice cubes, about 1 cup worth.
