Pork Chop Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Pork Tenderloin
Start by patting the boneless pork tenderloin dry with paper towels. This helps the batter adhere better.
- 2
Make the Batter
In a large bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix well. In a separate bowl, whisk the egg and then gradually mix in the Montana Brewing Company Amber beer until combined.
- 3
Coat the Pork
Dip each pork tenderloin piece into the flour mixture, ensuring it's fully coated. Then dip it into the beer batter, allowing any excess to drip off.
- 4
Fry the Pork Chops
In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully place the battered pork tenderloin into the skillet. Fry for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 145°F/63°C). Remove from the skillet and let rest on a plate lined with paper towels.
Onion Topping

Sauté the Onions
In the same skillet used for frying the pork, drain excess oil, leaving about 1 tablespoon. Add the butter and let it melt over medium heat. Slice the onions and add them to the skillet, seasoning with salt and pepper. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes, or until the onions are soft and caramelized.
- 6
Serve
Top each fried pork chop with the sautéed onions and serve immediately. Enjoy your Pork Chop Sean!
