Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Meat or Chicken
If using ground taco meat, cook it in a skillet over medium heat until browned and fully cooked, about 7-10 minutes. If using grilled chicken, cook the chicken breast on a grill or skillet until fully cooked, about 6-8 minutes per side, then chop into bite-sized pieces.
- 2
Prepare the Vegetables
While the meat or chicken is cooking, dice the tomatoes, slice the jalapenos, chop the onion, and slice the black olives. Set aside.
- 3
Warm the Queso
In a small saucepan, gently heat the white queso cheese sauce over low heat until warmed through, stirring occasionally.
Assembly
- 4
Layer the Nachos
On a large serving plate or platter, spread an even layer of Nacho Cheese Doritos. Top them with the cooked taco meat or grilled chicken evenly.
- 5
Add the Toppings
Sprinkle the sliced black olives, diced tomatoes, sliced jalapenos, and chopped onions over the meat. Then, evenly sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
- 6
Drizzle with Queso
Pour the warmed white queso cheese sauce over the entire platter of nachos, ensuring even coverage.
Serving
- 7
Serve with Dips
Serve the nachos warm alongside a cup of salsa and a half cup of sour cream for dipping.
