Method
Preparation
- 1
Chill the Champagne
Place the bottle of Champagne or sparkling wine in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving to ensure it is nicely chilled.
- 2
Juicing Oranges
If using fresh oranges, juice them until you have about 2 cups of fresh orange juice. Strain the juice through a fine mesh sieve to remove pulp if desired.
Serving
- 3
Mixing the Mimosa
In a large pitcher, combine the fresh orange juice with the chilled Champagne or sparkling wine. Gently stir to mix, taking care not to agitate the bubbles too much.
- 4
Pouring into Glasses
Pour the mimosa mixture into individual champagne flutes or glasses, filling each glass about halfway.
- 5
Garnishing
Garnish each glass with a slice of fresh orange and a couple of mint leaves for a refreshing touch.
