Prepare the Glass
Fill a copper mug or a highball glass with ice to chill it.

Mix the Base
In a shaker, combine 2 oz of vodka and 1 oz of fresh lime juice. Shake gently to mix.

Combine Ingredients
Pour the vodka and lime mixture over the ice in the prepared glass. Top it off with 4 oz of ginger beer.

Add Mint and Lime
Gently slap the fresh mint leaves between your palms to release their aroma, then add them to the drink. Garnish with a lime wedge on the rim.

Serve
Stir the drink gently to combine. Serve immediately and enjoy your Southern Mule!
