Method
Preparation
- 1
Clean and Prepare the Wings
Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Trim any excess fat or hanging skin.
- 2
Marinate the Wings
In a large bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss until they are well coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours for more flavor.
Cooking
- 3
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- 4
Bake the Wings
Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top. Arrange the marinated chicken wings in a single layer on the rack. Bake the wings in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.
- 5
Prepare the Sauce
While the wings are baking, combine buffalo sauce, honey, and soy sauce in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir the mixture until it is well combined and heated through, then remove from heat.
- 6
Toss the Wings
Once the wings are done baking, transfer them to a large bowl. Pour the prepared sauce over the wings and toss until they are evenly coated.
Serving
- 7
Serve the Wings
Transfer the sauced wings to a serving platter. Serve immediately with your choice of dipping sauces and celery sticks.
