Method
Prepare Chicken Tenders
- 1
Bread the Chicken
In three separate shallow bowls, set up your dredging stations: one with flour mixed with salt, pepper, and garlic powder; one with beaten eggs and milk; and the last with breadcrumbs. Cut the chicken breast into strips. Coat each chicken strip in flour, then dip it in the egg mixture, and finally cover it with breadcrumbs.
- 2
Fry the Chicken
In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully add the breaded chicken strips. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove from the skillet and place on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
Make Buffalo Sauce
- 3
Combine Ingredients
In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Once melted, add the hot sauce and garlic powder. Stir until well combined and heated through. Remove from heat.
Assemble Sandwiches
- 4
Coat Chicken with Buffalo Sauce
Toss the fried chicken tenders in the buffalo sauce until they are evenly coated.
- 5
Build the Sandwich
On the bottom half of each toasted bun, layer a lettuce leaf, tomato slices, and then place the buffalo chicken tenders on top. Drizzle with blue cheese dressing and cover with the top half of the bun.
