Crêpes

Chocolate Sauce or Maple Syrup

Method

Crêpe Preparation

  1. 1

    Make the Crêpe Batter

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, milk, eggs, melted butter, vanilla extract, sugar, and salt until smooth. Let the batter rest for 15 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cook the Crêpes

Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Pour about 1/4 cup of batter into the skillet, swirling to coat the bottom. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the edges lift, then flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes. Repeat with the remaining batter.

Toppings Preparation

  1. 3

    Prepare the Chocolate Sauce

In a small saucepan, combine chocolate chips and heavy cream over low heat. Stir until smooth and melted.

  2. 4

    Serve the Crêpes

Stack the crêpes on a plate, top with mixed berries, and drizzle with either the chocolate sauce or maple syrup. Serve with a glass of milk or small juice.
