Preparation

Grilling the Octopus

1. Preparation

In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add the octopus and cook for about 30 minutes until tender. Remove from water and let it cool.

2. Marinating

In a bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika. Cut the cooled octopus into tentacles and marinate for at least 1 hour.

3. Grilling

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the marinated octopus for about 3-4 minutes per side until slightly charred. Remove from the grill and set aside.

Preparing the Salad

4. Chop the Vegetables

Dice the tomatoes and slice the red onion thinly.

5. Mix the Salad

In a large bowl, combine the tomatoes, red onion, fresh oregano, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper. Toss gently to combine.
