Brownie Preparation
- 1
Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
- 2
Melt Butter
In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the unsalted butter. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
- 3
Mix Sugars
Stir in the granulated sugar and brown sugar into the melted butter until well combined.
- 4
Add Eggs and Vanilla
Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- 5
Combine Dry Ingredients
In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
- 6
Mix Everything Together
Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
- 7
Bake Brownies
Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- 8
Cool Brownies
Remove from oven and allow the brownies to cool in the pan before cutting into squares.
