Preparing the Bread

Slice the Baguette
Cut the baguette into 1/2 inch thick slices on a diagonal for more surface area.

Toast the Bread
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Arrange the sliced baguette on a baking sheet and brush both sides with olive oil. Bake for about 5-7 minutes until golden and crispy.

Chop the Tomatoes
Dice the tomatoes into small pieces and place them in a mixing bowl.

Add Basil and Garlic
Chop the fresh basil leaves and mince the garlic cloves. Add them to the bowl with the tomatoes.

Add balsamic vinegar, salt, and black pepper to the tomato mixture. Stir gently to combine all ingredients.
Assembling the Bruschetta

Top the Toasts
Once the bread is toasted, remove it from the oven and let it cool slightly. Spoon the tomato mixture generously onto each slice of toasted bread.
