Method

Cooking the Pasta

  1. 1

    Boil the Pasta

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain the pasta and set aside.

Cooking the Vegetables

  1. 2

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Once hot, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Add bell peppers, zucchini, carrots, and asparagus. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until vegetables are tender but still crisp.

  2. 3

    Add Cherry Tomatoes

Stir in the cherry tomatoes and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until they start to soften.

Combining Ingredients

  1. 4

    Combine Pasta with Vegetables

Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the sautéed vegetables. Toss gently to combine.

  2. 5

    Season the Dish

Add salt, black pepper, grated Parmesan cheese, and chopped fresh basil to the pasta and vegetables. Toss everything together until well mixed and heated through.

Serving

  1. 6

    Serve

Serve immediately in bowls, garnished with extra Parmesan cheese and basil if desired.
