Method

Prepare Cured Meats

  1. 1

    Slice the Meats

Thinly slice the prosciutto, salami, and chorizo. Arrange them on a large platter or wooden board, folding each slice for presentation.

Prepare Cheeses

  1. 2

    Cut the Cheeses

Cut the brie, cheddar, and gorgonzola into bite-sized pieces or wedges. Place them on the charcuterie board around the meats.

Make House-Made Pickles

  1. 3

    Prepare the Brine

In a saucepan, combine the white vinegar, water, sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil, stirring until the sugar and salt dissolve.

  2. 4

    Pickle the Cucumbers

Slice the cucumber into thin rounds. Place the slices into a jar and pour the hot brine over them. Add the dill to the jar. Seal and let it cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.

Assemble the Charcuterie Board

  1. 5

    Arrange the Board

Begin by placing the prepared cured meats and cheeses on the board. Add small bowls of house-made pickles, olives, and mixed nuts. Fill in the gaps with crackers for a beautiful presentation.
