Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. 2

    Prepare the Baguette

Slice the baguette into thin pieces, approximately 1/2 inch thick. Arrange the slices on a baking sheet.

  3. 3

    Season the Baguette

Drizzle the olive oil over the baguette slices and sprinkle with salt and black pepper. Set aside.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Brie

Take the Brie cheese and place it in an oven-safe dish. If desired, score the top of the cheese with a knife to allow the cheese to melt better.

  5. 5

    Add Toppings

Spread the fruit preserves generously over the top of the Brie. If using, sprinkle fresh rosemary or thyme on top.

Baking

  1. 6

    Bake the Brie

Place the dish with Brie in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is soft and gooey.

  2. 7

    Toast the Baguette

While the Brie is baking, place the prepared baguette slices in the oven for the last 5-7 minutes of baking to toast them until golden brown.

Serving

  1. 8

    Serve Warm

Once baked, remove the Brie and baguette from the oven. Serve the warm Brie with the toasted baguette slices for dipping.
