Infusing Jasmine

Prepare Jasmine Infusion
In a small saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Once boiling, remove from heat and add 1 cup of fresh jasmine flowers. Allow the mixture to steep for 10 minutes.

Strain the Infusion
After steeping, strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve to remove the jasmine flowers, retaining the infused water. Set aside.
Preparing the Base

Brew Green Tea
In another pot, heat 1 cup of the jasmine-infused water to just below boiling. Add 2 tablespoons of green tea leaves and let it steep for 3-5 minutes, depending on your desired strength.

Mix Sweetener and Flavor
Remove the tea from heat and strain out the tea leaves. Stir in 2 tablespoons of honey and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice until fully dissolved.

Combine and Serve
In a serving glass, combine the prepared sweetened green tea with the remaining jasmine-infused water. Stir gently to mix.
