Method

Tea Preparation

  1. 1

    Boil Water

In a pot, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil.

  2. 2

    Steep Tea

Once the water is boiling, remove it from heat and add 2 cups of spring-harvest green tea leaves. Let it steep for 3-5 minutes, depending on your desired strength.

  3. 3

    Strain Tea

After steeping, strain the tea into a large pitcher or teapot to remove the leaves.

Flavoring

  1. 4

    Prepare Toasted Chestnuts

If using whole chestnuts, roast them until golden brown and fragrant. Chop into smaller pieces. If using pre-packaged toasted chestnuts, simply chop them into smaller bits.

  2. 5

    Add Flavorings

To the strained green tea, add 1 cup of chopped toasted chestnuts, 3 tablespoons of honey, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Stir until the honey is fully dissolved.

Garnish

  1. 6

    Prepare Garnish

Add 0.5 cups of fresh mint leaves and 1 teaspoon of lemon zest to the tea mixture for added freshness and aroma.

  2. 7

    Serve

Pour the Jade Dragon tea into cups, ensuring each cup has a portion of the mint and lemon zest garnish. Enjoy warm or chilled.
