Method
Salad Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Romaine Lettuce
Rinse the Romaine lettuce under cold water to remove any dirt. Pat dry with a kitchen towel or use a salad spinner to remove excess water.
- 2
Chop the Lettuce
Remove the outer leaves and chop the Romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces. Place in a large salad bowl.
- 3
Add Croutons and Parmesan
Sprinkle the croutons over the chopped lettuce and grate the Parmesan cheese on top of the salad.
Dressing Preparation
- 4
Make the Caesar Dressing
In a mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise, minced garlic, chopped anchovy fillets, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, salt, and black pepper.
- 5
Mix Well
Whisk the ingredients together until the dressing is smooth and well combined. Adjust seasoning to taste, adding more salt or pepper if needed.
Serving the Salad
- 6
Combine and Serve
Drizzle the prepared Caesar dressing over the salad just before serving. Toss the salad to ensure the lettuce is evenly coated with the dressing. Serve immediately.
