Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Spread the Peanut Butter

Take one flour tortilla and spread 2 tablespoons of peanut butter evenly across its surface using a butter knife.

  2. 2

    Add the Jelly

On top of the peanut butter, spread 2 tablespoons of your favorite jelly (e.g., grape, strawberry, etc.) evenly.

  3. 3

    Add Optional Toppings

If using, place sliced banana and/or chopped nuts on top of the jelly layer.

Cooking

  1. 4

    Assemble the Jellyadilla

Place the second flour tortilla on top of the first tortilla to create a sandwich.

  2. 5

    Butter the Outside

Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a skillet over medium heat. Once melted, carefully place the assembled jellyadilla in the skillet.

  3. 6

    Cook and Flip

Cook the jellyadilla for about 2-3 minutes or until golden brown. Use a spatula to carefully flip it over and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes on the other side.

  4. 7

    Serve

Once both sides are golden brown and the filling is warm, remove the jellyadilla from the skillet and let it cool for a minute before slicing into wedges. Serve warm.
