Prepare the Taco Shells

Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Heat the Taco Shells
Place the hard taco shells on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for about 5-7 minutes until they are crisp and slightly golden.
Prepare the Filling

Warm the Refried Beans
In a small saucepan over medium heat, warm the refried beans for about 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally until heated through.

Prepare the Vegetables
While the beans are heating, shred the lettuce and dice the tomato. Set aside.
Assemble the Tacos

Fill the Taco Shells
Once the taco shells are crisp, remove them from the oven and let them cool for a minute. Spoon a layer of warm refried beans into each taco shell, followed by a generous sprinkle of shredded cheese.

Add Vegetables
Top each taco with shredded lettuce and diced tomato.

Add Optional Toppings
If desired, add sour cream, salsa, and sliced avocado on top of each taco.
