Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Marinade

In a mixing bowl, combine the soy sauce, honey, apple cider vinegar, olive oil, minced garlic, paprika, salt, black pepper, cumin, and chili powder. Mix well until fully combined.

2

Marinate the Chicken and Ribs

Place the chicken thighs and spare ribs in a large resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the meat, ensuring it is well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.

3

Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).

4

Bake the Ribs

Remove the ribs from the marinade and place them on a baking sheet lined with foil. Bake in the preheated oven for about 2.5 hours, basting with the marinade every 30 minutes.

5

Cook the Chicken

While the ribs are baking, remove the chicken from the marinade and set aside. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the chicken thighs for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked and golden brown.

6

Thicken the Remaining Marinade

In a small saucepan, pour the remaining marinade. Bring it to a boil, then reduce to a simmer. Mix cornstarch with water until smooth, then add to the saucepan to thicken the sauce. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.

7

Serve

Once the ribs are done, remove them from the oven and let them rest for 10 minutes. Serve the chicken and ribs together, drizzled with the thickened marinade sauce.
