Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Spinach

In a medium pot, bring water to a boil. Add the fresh spinach and blanch for about 2 minutes until wilted. Drain and run under cold water to stop cooking. Squeeze out excess water and chop coarsely.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Artichokes

If using canned artichoke hearts, drain and chop them into small pieces. If using frozen artichokes, thaw and chop them.

  3. 3

    Mix the Dip Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Mix until smooth and well combined.

  4. 4

    Add Spinach and Artichokes

Fold in the prepared spinach and chopped artichoke hearts into the creamy mixture until evenly distributed.

Cooking

  1. 5

    Bake the Dip

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Transfer the spinach artichoke mixture into a baking dish and spread evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the dip is bubbly and golden brown on top.

Serving

  1. 6

    Serve with Pita Chips

Remove the dip from the oven and let it cool slightly. Serve warm with a bag of pita chips for dipping.
