Preparing the Salmon

Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Prepare the Fillet
Rinse the salmon fillet under cold water and pat it dry with paper towels.

Season the Salmon
Rub the salmon fillet with olive oil, then sprinkle salt and black pepper evenly on both sides.

Bake the Salmon
Place the seasoned salmon fillet on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
Making the Lemon-Dill Butter

Prepare the Butter Mixture
In a small bowl, combine the softened unsalted butter, fresh lemon juice, chopped fresh dill, and minced garlic. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.

You can melt the butter slightly in the microwave for about 10-15 seconds if you prefer a more spreadable consistency.
