Salmon Fillet

Method

Preparing the Salmon

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. 2

    Prepare the Fillet

Rinse the salmon fillet under cold water and pat it dry with paper towels.

  3. 3

    Season the Salmon

Rub the salmon fillet with olive oil, then sprinkle salt and black pepper evenly on both sides.

  4. 4

    Bake the Salmon

Place the seasoned salmon fillet on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.

Making the Lemon-Dill Butter

  1. 5

    Prepare the Butter Mixture

In a small bowl, combine the softened unsalted butter, fresh lemon juice, chopped fresh dill, and minced garlic. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.

  2. 6

    Melt the Butter

You can melt the butter slightly in the microwave for about 10-15 seconds if you prefer a more spreadable consistency.

  3. 7

    Top the Salmon

Once the salmon is baked, remove it from the oven and top it with the lemon-dill butter mixture. Allow it to melt over the hot salmon before serving.
