Main Ingredients

Method

Preparing the Marinade

  1. 1

    Mix the Marinade

In a bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Whisk until well blended.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Salmon

Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over the top. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Grilling the Salmon and Asparagus

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

  2. 4

    Prepare the Asparagus

Trim the woody ends off the asparagus and toss them with a little olive oil, salt, and pepper.

  3. 5

    Grill the Salmon

Remove the salmon from the marinade and place it skin-side down on the grill. Grill for about 6-8 minutes per side or until cooked through and flaky.

  4. 6

    Grill the Asparagus

At the same time, grill the asparagus for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until tender and slightly charred.

Preparing the Lemon Butter Sauce

  1. 7

    Melt the Butter

In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter.

  2. 8

    Add Garlic and Lemon Juice

Once melted, add minced garlic and lemon juice. Stir and let it cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

  3. 9

    Finish the Sauce

Remove from heat, stir in chopped parsley, and season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serving

  1. 10

    Plate the Dish

On a plate, place the grilled salmon and asparagus. Drizzle the lemon butter sauce over the top and serve warm.
