Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

Prepare Ramekins
Grease four ramekins with butter and dust them with flour, tapping out any excess. Place them on a baking tray.
Making the Cake Batter

Whisk Eggs and Sugar
In a large bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, eggs, and egg yolks until well combined and slightly thickened.

Combine Mixtures
Pour the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture and stir to combine. Add the flour and vanilla extract, mixing until just combined.
Baking the Cakes

Fill Ramekins
Evenly divide the batter among the prepared ramekins, filling each about 3/4 full.

Bake
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-14 minutes, or until the edges are firm but the center is soft. The tops should look set.
Serving

Cool and Serve
Remove the cakes from the oven and let them cool for 1 minute. Carefully run a knife around the edges to loosen, then invert onto individual plates. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a dusting of powdered sugar if desired.
