Brownie Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. 2

    Melt Butter

In a medium saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat.

  3. 3

    Mix Sugars and Cocoa

Remove from heat and stir in granulated sugar, brown sugar, and cocoa powder until well combined.

  4. 4

    Add Eggs and Vanilla

Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

  5. 5

    Combine Dry Ingredients

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour and salt. Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients until just combined.

  6. 6

    Bake the Brownies

Spread the brownie batter into a greased 9x13 inch baking pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

  7. 7

    Cool and Cut

Let the brownies cool completely in the pan before cutting them into squares.

Sundae Assembly

  1. 8

    Scoop Ice Cream

Place 4 scoops of vanilla ice cream into a serving bowl or dessert glass.
