Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Orange Juice

Start by selecting ripe oranges. Cut them in half and use a juicer or citrus press to extract the juice until you have 1 cup of freshly squeezed orange juice. Strain the juice to remove any pulp if desired.

  2. 2

    Chill the Sparkling Wine

Ensure your sparkling wine is well chilled before serving. Place the bottle in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours prior to making the mimosa.

  3. 3

    Mix the Mimosa

In a champagne flute or a glass of your choice, pour in 1/2 cup of freshly squeezed orange juice.

  4. 4

    Add the Sparkling Wine

Slowly top the glass with 1/2 cup of chilled sparkling wine. Pour gently to avoid excessive fizzing.

  5. 5

    Garnish and Serve

Add an orange slice on the rim of the glass for garnish. Serve immediately while the drink is bubbly and fresh.
