Method

Tea Preparation

  1. 1

    Steep the Tea

In a medium saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Once boiling, remove from heat and add 4 tablespoons of Thai tea leaves. Let it steep for about 10 minutes.

  2. 2

    Sweeten the Tea

After steeping, strain the tea into a separate bowl or pitcher to remove the tea leaves. While the tea is still warm, stir in 3 tablespoons of sugar until fully dissolved. Allow the tea to cool to room temperature.

Milk Mixture

  1. 3

    Prepare the Milk Mixture

In a separate bowl, combine 1 cup of evaporated milk with 2 tablespoons of sweetened condensed milk. Stir well until both are blended smoothly.

Serving

  1. 4

    Assemble the Drink

Fill a glass with 1 cup of ice cubes. Pour the cooled Thai tea over the ice, filling the glass about 3/4 full. Top with the milk mixture, stirring gently to create a marbled effect. Serve immediately.
