Main Ingredients

Lemon Butter Sauce

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prep the Salmon

Rinse the Atlantic salmon fillets under cold water and pat dry with paper towels. Place the fillets on a plate and drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle salt and black pepper over both sides of the salmon.

  2. 2

    Make the Lemon Butter Sauce

In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in the fresh lemon juice, lemon zest, and chopped parsley. Cook for another 1-2 minutes, then remove from heat.

Grilling

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F/200°C).

  2. 4

    Grill the Salmon

Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the grill. Grill for about 6-8 minutes on each side, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and has nice grill marks. Use a spatula to carefully flip the fillets halfway through cooking.

Serving

  1. 5

    Plate and Serve

Once the salmon is cooked, remove it from the grill and place it on a serving platter. Drizzle the prepared lemon butter sauce generously over the salmon. Garnish with additional chopped parsley if desired and serve immediately.
