Chill the Glass
Begin by placing your glass in the freezer for about 10 minutes for an ice-cold experience.

Add Ice
Remove the glass from the freezer and fill it with ice cubes until it is about three-quarters full.

Pour the Bourbon
Carefully pour 2 oz of bourbon over the ice in the glass. Allow it to chill for a moment.

Garnish
Twist the orange peel over the drink to release its oils, then place it in the glass. Finally, add a maraschino cherry on top.
