Preparing the Topping

Chop the Tomatoes
Dice the fresh tomatoes into small pieces and place them in a mixing bowl.

Add Garlic
Mince the garlic cloves and add them to the bowl with the tomatoes.

Prepare Basil
Chop the fresh basil leaves and add them to the tomato and garlic mixture.

Season the Mixture
Add the balsamic glaze, salt, and black pepper to the mixing bowl. Stir gently to combine all ingredients.

Let it Rest
Allow the mixture to sit for about 10 minutes to let the flavors meld together.
Preparing the Bread

Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Slice the Bread
Slice the baguette or ciabatta loaf into 1/2 inch thick slices.

Brush with Olive Oil
Place the slices on a baking sheet and brush each slice with olive oil.

Bake the Bread
Bake the bread slices in the preheated oven for 5-7 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
Assembling the Bruschetta

Top the Bread
Remove the toasted bread from the oven and let it cool slightly. Spoon the tomato mixture generously onto each slice.

Drizzle a little extra balsamic glaze on top if desired and serve immediately while still warm.
