Preparation and Assembly
- 1
Prepare the Brisket
Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Mix salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and chili powder in a bowl. Rub the spice mixture all over the brisket. Place the brisket in a roasting pan and cover it with foil. Roast for about 4 hours or until tender.

Shred the Brisket
Once the brisket is cooked, remove it from the oven and let it rest for 30 minutes. After resting, shred the brisket using two forks.
- 3
Warm the Tortillas
In a skillet over medium heat, warm the corn tortillas for about 30 seconds on each side until soft and pliable.
- 4
Assemble the Tacos
Place a generous amount of shredded brisket on each tortilla. Top with pico de gallo, fresh cilantro, and a drizzle of jalapeno-lime mayo.
- 5
Serve
Serve the tacos immediately while warm. Enjoy!
