Prepare the Glass
Rim the edge of a glass with salt by rubbing a slice of orange around the rim and then dipping it into salt.

In a shaker, combine the Sutler's gin, orange juice, and simple syrup. Fill the shaker with ice and shake well until chilled.

Strain the mixture into the prepared glass filled with ice. Garnish with an orange slice if desired.
