1. Juicing the Lemons
Cut the lemons in half and juice them using a citrus juicer. You should have about 1 cup of fresh lemon juice.
2. Mixing the Lemonade
In a pitcher, combine the fresh lemon juice with 1 cup of granulated sugar. Stir until the sugar is fully dissolved.
3. Adding Water
Add 4 cups of cold water to the pitcher and mix well. Taste and adjust the sweetness by adding more sugar or water if necessary.
4. Serving
Serve the lemonade over ice cubes in glasses. Garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.
