Pimento Cheese

Housemade Crackers

Method

Pimento Cheese

1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the sharp cheddar cheese and cream cheese. Use a hand mixer or a spatula to blend them together until smooth and creamy.

2

Add the mayonnaise, pimentos (drained and chopped), garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, and salt to the cheese mixture.

3

Mix all ingredients until well combined. Taste and adjust seasoning with additional salt if needed.

4

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld.

Housemade Crackers

5

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

6

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, salt, and baking powder.

7

Add the olive oil to the flour mixture, and mix until crumbly.

8

Gradually add water to the mixture until a dough forms. If the dough is too sticky, add a little more flour.

9

Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1/8-inch thickness. Cut into desired shapes and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

10

Sprinkle herbs on top of the crackers according to taste.

11

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and let them cool.
