Preparation Steps

1

Prepare the Cucumber

Wash the cucumber thoroughly under running water. Cut it into thin slices, about 1/4-inch thick.

2

Muddle the Mint

In a glass or cocktail shaker, add the fresh mint leaves. Use a muddler or the back of a spoon to gently press the mint leaves, releasing their oils and aroma.

3

Add Cucumber and Lime

Add the cucumber slices to the glass with the muddled mint. Squeeze the juice from the lime half into the glass, then drop the lime half into the mixture.

4

Mix with Tonic Water

Pour the tonic water over the cucumber and mint mixture. Stir gently to combine all the ingredients without losing the carbonation.

5

Serve with Ice

Fill a serving glass with ice cubes. Strain the mixture over the ice. Garnish with a sprig of mint or a cucumber slice, if desired.
