Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Preparation

Remove the dry-aged tomahawk steak from the refrigerator and allow it to come to room temperature for about 1 hour.

  2. 2

    Seasoning

Generously season both sides of the steak with salt and black pepper. Make sure to rub the seasoning into the meat.

  3. 3

    Searing

Heat a large cast-iron skillet or grill over high heat. Add olive oil to the pan or brush it on the grill. Once hot, place the tomahawk steak in the skillet or on the grill.

  4. 4

    Cooking

Sear the steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side, until a nice crust forms. For medium-rare, cook until the internal temperature reaches 130°F (54°C).

  5. 5

    Resting

Remove the steak from heat and let it rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing. This allows the juices to redistribute.

  6. 6

    Serving

Slice the steak against the grain and serve immediately. Enjoy your perfectly cooked dry-aged tomahawk!
