1. Prepare the Sweet Soy Butter
In a small saucepan, combine the soy sauce, honey, and minced garlic. Heat over medium heat until the mixture reduces by half. Remove from heat and stir in the butter until melted and combined. Set aside.
2. Char the Broccolini
In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the broccolini and season with salt and pepper. Sauté for about 5–7 minutes until tender and slightly charred. Remove from heat and set aside.
3. Cook the Black Cod
Preheat the grill or a grill pan over medium-high heat. Season the black cod fillets with salt and pepper. Place the fillets skin-side down on the grill and cook for about 4–5 minutes per side, or until cooked through and slightly charred.
4. Assembly
On a plate, place a portion of charred broccolini, top with a black cod fillet, and drizzle with sweet soy butter. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top before serving.
