Method

Cake

  1. 1

    Prepare the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.

  2. 2

    Mix Dry Ingredients

In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.

  3. 3

    Beat Eggs

In another bowl, beat the eggs until fluffy using an electric mixer. Add the vanilla extract and mix until combined.

  4. 4

    Combine Mixtures

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the egg mixture, alternating with the milk. Mix until just combined and smooth.

  5. 5

    Bake the Cake

Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

  6. 6

    Cool the Cake

Once baked, remove the cake from the oven and allow it to cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Three Milk Mixture

  1. 7

    Prepare the Milk Mix

In a medium bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, and whole milk. Whisk until well combined.

  2. 8

    Soak the Cake

Once the cake is completely cooled, poke holes all over the surface using a fork. Slowly pour the milk mixture over the cake, allowing it to soak in.

  3. 9

    Let it Rest

Cover the cake with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight to absorb the milk.

Whipped Topping

  1. 10

    Whip the Cream

In a chilled mixing bowl, pour the heavy cream and beat with an electric mixer until soft peaks form.

  2. 11

    Add Sugar and Vanilla

Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract while continuing to whip until stiff peaks form.

  3. 12

    Top the Cake

Spread or pipe the whipped topping over the soaked cake evenly.

Garnish

  1. 13

    Add Final Touches

Sprinkle cinnamon powder over the whipped topping and arrange fresh berries on top for garnish.
