Appetizer

Main Course

Method

Appetizer

  1. 1

    Prepare the Shrimp

In a large bowl, combine the shrimp, olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, parsley, salt, and black pepper. Toss to coat evenly.

  2. 2

    Cook the Shrimp

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp mixture and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the shrimp are pink and opaque.

  3. 3

    Serve

Transfer the shrimp to a platter and garnish with additional parsley if desired. Serve immediately.

Main Course

  1. 4

    Season the Steaks

Pat the filet mignon steaks dry with paper towels. Season both sides generously with salt and black pepper.

  2. 5

    Sear the Steaks

In a large skillet, heat the butter over medium-high heat. Once melted and bubbling, add the steaks and sear for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare.

  3. 6

    Add Flavor

In the last minute of cooking, add the rosemary sprigs to the skillet, basting the steaks with the melted butter.

  4. 7

    Rest and Serve

Remove the steaks from the skillet and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve with the shrimp appetizer.

Dessert

  1. 8

    Melt the Chocolate

In a heatproof bowl, combine the dark chocolate and heavy cream. Place over a saucepan of simmering water and stir until melted and smooth.

  2. 9

    Flavor the Ganache

Remove the bowl from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and a pinch of sea salt.

  3. 10

    Chill the Ganache

Let the ganache cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for about 30 minutes until it thickens.

  4. 11

    Serve

Scoop the chilled ganache into small bowls or ramekins and serve as a rich dessert option.
