Method
Preparation of Meats
Grill the Chicken
Season the grilled chicken with salt, pepper, and your favorite spices. Grill over medium heat for about 6-8 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked. Let it rest and then chop into bite-sized pieces.
Cook the Ground Beef
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat and season with taco seasoning according to package instructions. Mix well and set aside.
Prepare Tortillas
Warm Soft Flour Tortillas
Heat soft flour tortillas in a pan for 1-2 minutes on each side until warm and pliable.
Bake Hard Corn Tortillas
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Place hard corn tortillas on a baking sheet and bake for 5-7 minutes until crispy.
Assemble the Bar
Set Up the Tortilla Bar
Arrange the warm soft tortillas, crispy hard tortillas, grilled chicken, ground beef, tortilla chips, and queso dip on a large serving platter or table.
Add Optional Toppings
Include shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, and sour cream in small bowls or containers for guests to add to their tortillas and nachos.
