Oysters and Sauce
Method
Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Oysters
Preheat your broiler. Clean the oysters under cold water, scrubbing the shells with a brush. Carefully shuck the oysters and place them on a baking sheet, keeping the oyster liquor in the shells.
- 2
Make the Sauce
In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in lemon juice, white wine, parsley, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- 3
Broil the Oysters
Spoon a generous amount of the sauce over each oyster. Place the baking sheet under the broiler and broil for about 5-7 minutes, or until the oysters are cooked through and the edges are slightly crispy.
