Chai Latté Preparation
1. Prepare the Spiced Tea
In a saucepan, bring the water to a boil. Add the black tea leaves or tea bags, along with the ground ginger, cinnamon, cardamom, and black pepper (if using). Let it simmer for about 5-7 minutes.
2. Add Sweetener
Remove the saucepan from heat and add sugar or honey to taste. Stir until dissolved.
3. Add Milk
Add milk to the spiced tea mixture and return to low heat. Heat until the milk is warm, but do not let it boil.
4. Add Vanilla (Optional)
If desired, stir in the vanilla extract for an extra flavor boost.
5. Strain and Serve
