Preparation Steps
- 1
Cook the Pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- 2
Prepare the Chicken
While the pasta is cooking, season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, until they are cooked through and golden brown. Remove from the skillet and let rest before slicing into strips.
- 3
Make the Alfredo Sauce
In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and minced garlic. Sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Gradually whisk in the Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- 4
Combine Pasta and Sauce
Add the drained pasta to the Alfredo sauce, tossing to coat the pasta evenly with the sauce. Stir in the sliced chicken.
- 5
Serve
Serve the Chicken Alfredo Pasta warm, garnished with chopped parsley.
