Lamb Kifta Kabob

Method

Preparation of Lamb Kifta Kabob

  1. 1

    Prepare the Lamb Mixture

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground lamb, chopped onion, minced garlic, chopped parsley, cumin, coriander, cinnamon, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.

  2. 2

    Shape the Kabobs

Divide the lamb mixture into equal portions and shape each portion around a skewer, forming elongated kabobs. Ensure they are well packed to prevent them from falling apart during grilling.

  3. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Brush the grill grates with olive oil to prevent sticking.

  4. 4

    Grill the Kabobs

Place the kabobs on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until they are evenly browned and cooked through.

  5. 5

    Grill the Tomatoes

While the kabobs are grilling, place the halved tomatoes on the grill and cook for about 5-7 minutes until they are charred and softened.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve the kabobs hot with grilled tomatoes, a side of cooked rice, Greek salad, hummus, pita bread, and tahini sauce.
