Preparation

1

Muddle the Mint and Lime

In a sturdy glass, add 10 fresh mint leaves and 1 whole lime cut into wedges. Sprinkle 2 tablespoons of sugar over the mint and lime. Using a muddler or the back of a spoon, gently press down on the mint and lime to release their juices and aromatic oils. Be careful not to tear the mint leaves too much.

2

Add the Rum

Pour in 2 ounces of white rum over the muddled mint and lime mixture. Stir gently to combine the flavors.

3

Mix with Soda

Fill the glass with ice cubes, then top it off with 4 ounces of club soda. Stir gently to mix the ingredients without losing the carbonation.

Garnishing

4

Garnish the Drink

Add a sprig of fresh mint and a lime wedge on the rim of the glass for garnish. This adds a beautiful presentation and enhances the aroma when sipping.

5

Serve

Serve immediately with a straw or a stirring stick, and enjoy your refreshing mojito!
