    Choose Your Base Spirit

    Select one of the following base spirits: Maker’s Mark, Woodford Reserve, Bulleit, Templeton Rye, or Mean Mule Poblano.

    Prepare the Glass

    Take an Old Fashioned glass and place it on a stable surface.

Mixing

    Muddle the Ingredients

    In the prepared glass, add the sugar cube and 2 dashes of Angostura bitters. Muddle these together until the sugar cube is fully dissolved.

    Add Ice

    Fill the glass with ice cubes until it is about three-quarters full.

    Pour the Spirit

    Pour your chosen base spirit (2 oz) over the ice in the glass.

    Garnish

    Express the oils of an orange peel over the drink and drop it in. Add a maraschino cherry on top for garnish.

Serving

    Enjoy

    Stir gently to combine the ingredients and serve immediately. Enjoy your Old Fashioned on a relaxing Friday evening!
